– We are actively involved in creating experiences in the autumn darkness

Last year, Raus Bryggeri moved into its new premises in the old Lobben on Nesna. They want to offer something more than a brewery and pub, and are therefore betting fresh with more concerts this autumn.

– Raus Bryggeri is now actively involved in creating musical experiences in the autumn darkness! We are charging up for a nice autumn concert in the brewery with music and drinks for every taste, says general manager Kristian Sivertsen. First up is the Skarheim Duo, but the musician Trond Skarheim is at the forefront. He was born and raised in Gruben i Rana municipality, but today lives in Nesna where he writes lyrics and melodies for the project Skarheim. – The project started as a one-man project, but over time developed into a whole band of musicians with a great commitment to music. Together they create a creative universe where inspiration hangs easily under the roof, writes Raus in a press release.

On 10 September, Trond takes his guitar and fellow musician from Skarheim, Mikal Reinvik, to Raus Bryggeri in Nesna. The guys offer a full evening of songs from both their debut album “Tvibi” (2018) and Skarheim’s latest album “Asketid”, which came out just a few months ago. – With generous words and a good atmosphere, Trond and Mikal take the audience on a journey, through the songs that the audience can recognize in their own way. Come and enjoy the autumn evening with us, as darkness falls outside. On September 16, it’s ready for The Real Thing. Since its inception in 1992, The Real Thing has played more than 1,600 concerts and sold over 55,000 records of hard-swinging, organ-based soul jazz, inspired by greats such as Jimmy Smith, Jack McDuff, George Benson and Wes Montgomery.

The Real Thing celebrates its 30th anniversary this year.

– The band that “never leaves the stage in a dry tuxedo” has built up a solid fan base also outside the jazz congregation. Organist Palle Wagnberg, guitarist Staffan William-Olsson, saxophonist Dave Edge and drummer Hermund Nygård are looking forward to firing up the hammond organ, checking that the loop is straight and letting loose on old and new repertoire. On 5 October, Anna Kajander visits Rau’s brewery. – With impulses from Buenos Aires, Copenhagen, Oslo and Lofoten, Anna Kajander has already conquered the hearts of many music lovers with her beautiful songs. The debut album Mandag was released in February 2020, and has accompanied many through two sedentary years. Anna is praised for her down-to-earth charm, intimate songwriting and not least her powerful voice. – In the wake of Monday, Anna Kajander has spent a lot of time writing new music and diving into the role of producer. Anna takes the results of this work with her to her home region this autumn, where she performs a mixture of new and old songs.

Anna Kajander released her debut record in the pandemic year 2020.
