Watch the late Taylor Hawkins’ son Shane perform ‘My Hero’ behind the drums with Foo Fighters at Saturday’s tribute concert in London – Rockman

On Saturday 3 September, the surviving members paid their respects Foo Fighters along with a large number of guest artists Taylor Hawkins memory and music at a special concert at Wembley Stadium.

For those who followed the concert such as could be streamed live via MTV’s YouTube channel, you could experience a unique and fantastic concert that contained a number of highlights. Among other things, performance with Brian Johnson (AC/DC) along with Lars Ulrich (Metallica) which together with Foo Fighters performed the AC/DC songs “Back In Black” and “Let There Be Rock”.

Emotionally, the strongest experience was probably when the deceased passed away Taylor Hawkins 16 year old son Shane (Oliver Shane) sat down behind the drums to play Foo Fighters the song “My Hero” (1998) together with precisely Foo Fighters after the intro from Dave Grohl as you can see here:


An incredibly strong and impressive performance by Shane who undoubtedly has an inherited talent from his father. It will be really exciting to follow him going forward.
