Ambulance crews are at the scene of a car falling off a cliff along Route 1 at Devil’s Slide.
Two adults and two children inside the vehicle were seriously injured, Cal Fire said. Multiple ambulances were called and were on their way to the scene.
Two children were rescued by helicopter around 12:20 p.m., and rescuers are still in the process of rescuing two adults, California Highway Patrol told NBC Bay Area.
Highway 1 remains open, but drivers should expect delays in the area, according to Cal Fire. Devil’s Slide is located between Pacifica and Montara.
