11 U.S. States That Top Our Readers’ 2023 Travel Lists

Waiting for travel Recently, in our annual State of Travel Survey, we polled our readers about their travel plans for 2023. Surprisingly, 94% of people plan to travel to the United States at least once this year. Looking at the domestic destinations below, I must say you have great taste!Here are the top states a reader plans to visit in 2023:

1. Florida

The Sunshine State won gold medals in 2021 and 2022, so it’s no surprise that Florida tops readers’ 2023 travel lists. With sun, sand and destinations like Orlando, Miami, Key West, Tampa and Fort Lauderdale, who can resist?

2. California

10. Michigan
